Ceylon Silver Tips, commonly known as White Tea, is a very rare Ceylon tea, entirely handmade and extremely limited in production- just a few hundred kilos per year. Understandably, it is one of the most expensive teas. Silver Tips is velvety to the touch and produces a pale liquor tinged with yellow - very delicate and subtle in flavour. A rare, sophisticated indulgence!

I have been a green tea drinker for over 30 years, and have consumed a wide range until I discovered Dilmah Exceptional about ten years ago.
Green Tea and Fragrant Jasmine Green Tea (loose leaf and individually wrapped leaf bags) continued to be my favourites. However, when I tried Ceylon Silver Tips White Tea a few years ago, it became, for me, by far the best Dilmah tea.
I find it to be very delicate on the palate, yet very refreshing, especially in the afternoons. My Dilmah tea schedule has become Fragrant Jasmine in the morning, Ceylon Silver Tips in the afternoon and Ceylon Green Tea in the evening. I cannot imagine better tea than that in my Dilmah schedule.
I must admit that the cost of Ceylon Silver Tips is very high, especially for senior pensioners like myself, and there may come a time when I am unable to purchase the Ceylon Silver Tips any longer.
In the meantime, I will continue enjoying, in the afternoons, the most refined tea that I have ever known. Thank you for your inquiry.
