This May 2026, Cancer Council invites Australians to host their own Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising vital funds for cancer research, prevention, and support. It’s a simple way to bring people together while making real impact.

Step 1: Register your Morning Tea

The official date for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is Thursday 21 May 2026, but you can host anytime from May to June.

Make sure to register your event and create a fundraising page so guests can donate before or during your gathering.

Once registered, you’ll gain access to host resources, including invitations, decorations and QR codes that make donations easy on the day.

Step 2: Plan your High Tea

Your morning tea can be as simple or as elaborate as you like:

A classic high tea with tiered stands and vintage china
A relaxed garden gathering
A workplace morning tea
Even a virtual catch-up with friends joining from home

The important thing is bringing people together around a shared cause.
